Alleluia! The Lord is Risen!
He is Risen Indeed! alleluia!

Old St. Luke’s is very peaceful at 5:45 AM on this rainy Easter morning. But at 6:30, the sanctuary will come alive as we observe our annual Sunrise Service!

Alleluia indeed!

What a busy week we had at Old St. Luke’s. It started with Saturday handing out candy in OSL’s neighborhood. Saturday night we had St. Paul’s Episcopal Church conduct their Saturday evening service. Sunday we had a book signing and reading with the author and illustrator. He wrote and read“The History Tree” which was based on our red oak witness tree. He formally adopted OSL’s tree for his book. Monday, we had an interpreter from the Plymouth (Plimouth) Colony in Massachusetts speak in dialect, acting as one of the passengers on the Mayflower ship. What a performance! Old St. Luke’s will have many more events in the future. Follow us on Facebook and on our website at; www.oldsaintLukes.org Just stay tuned! A big thank you to all who made this happen. It was a great weekend!
