Leprosy is depicted in the Bible as one of the worst diseases anyone could get. It made people pariahs, killing not only their body but any chance of living normally until death inevitably came. In Matthew 8:1-4, Jesus the King demonstrates authority over even this terrible disease when He heals a l***r.
