No weekday mass this Tuesday or Wednesday at St. Patrick’s however, on Tuesday there will be rosary & Liturgy of the Word at 5:00 pm. Nothing on Wednesday.

The parishioners of St. Patrick send our deepest sympathies to Nolene & Keith Rubenacker & the entire family on the passing of their son, Ryan Rubenacker. Besides his parents, he leaves behind a son Dawson, his sister Sara Rubenacker, brother in law Michael Smith & two nephews Hamilton & Montgomery Smith & many other relatives & friends.

His visitation will be Friday, August 21st at Harre Funeral Home from 4:30-7:30 pm. Graveside services for Ryan will be at Crouch Cemetery in Belle Prairie City, IL at 10:00 am on Saturday August 22.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Ryan’s memory to the McLeansboro Elk’s Scholarship Fund or a charity of your choice. In memory of Ryan, please take a moment to do a random act of kindness for someone. And finally please keep his family in your prayers during this difficult time.

His obituary is on Harre Funeral Home website.

🇺🇸 St. Patrick’s Youth 🇺🇸

Our amazing St. Patrick’s youth came together to honor Korean War hero Cpl. Jackie Lee Thurman, who was found and brought home after 72 years of being Missing in Action. 🇺🇸

They helped place flags in remembrance, showing respect and gratitude for his service and sacrifice.

We are so proud of these young individuals for giving their time to ensure Cpl. Thurman is welcomed home with the honor he deserves. ❤️🤍💙
