As Passover begins and we celebrate our liberation from Egypt, we’re given a rare and beautiful opportunity this year: to light candles three nights in a row -two nights of Yom Tov candles, followed immediately by Shabbat candles.

We invite you to join in sharing the light this holiday.

As Spring has sprung here in Putnam we wish you a wonderful Passover full of renewal and joy.

Purim at Chabad of Putnam may have been our best Purim yet! The room was packed with a huge crowd — so many people came that some were even standing without seats! The energy and excitement were incredible.

From the festive costumes to the delicious feast, the amazing kids’ Purim Patisserie, and the hilarious game show led by Rabbi Avi, the celebration was filled with nonstop fun.

It was so special to see our community come together in such a BIG way. When we unite in joy, it brings blessing, strength, and warmth to our entire community.

A huge thank you to all the incredible volunteers who helped pack and deliver Mishloach Manot and who worked so hard setting up and cleaning up. Your help made this celebration possible!

What a wonderful Hamantashen Bake! 🔺💙
It was so special to see our community come together, share laughs, and create something sweet together as we prepare for the upcoming Purim holiday.

Hamantashen Event — Happening Tomorrow! 🥟
We’re excited to welcome you tomorrow, Sunday, from 11:00–12:30.

We’ve been monitoring the weather, and according to Hudson Valley Weather, the morning and early afternoon should only be minimally impacted. Light snow is expected, with less than 2″ total accumulation by sunset and only minor travel impact during event hours.

So proud of our Hebrew School and CKids for collecting so many toys for Chanukah! We participated in Chai Lifeline’s annual Chanukah toy drive. We helped brighten the holiday season for children and families facing medical challenges.
