Worship on the Lawn is tomorrow! A few things to know:

➡️ We’ll have one service only at 11a.
➡️ Bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on during service.
➡️ There will be no kids or students programming, but kids of all ages are invited to worship with us!
➡️ Consider bringing bug spray!
➡️ Stay after service for lunch provided by The Smoking Pastor. Plus, bring a side dish or dessert to share, if you’d like!

Our Venture Groups Launch Night yesterday was such a great celebration! We celebrated that this fall, we have 5 brand new groups, 100 people joining a group for the first time, and 587 total of you in groups! 🙌

This night of good food, good conversation, prayer, worship, and fun is designed to be enjoyed with your Venture Group, whether you’ve just joined one or your group has been meeting for years. You’ll hear stories of how life in community has made a difference for others and discover what’s ahead in The Way of Jesus, our six-week experience that begins September 13. Come connect with your Venture Group and get ready to begin the journey together! Childcare is available for children birth through 5th grade.

Worship on the Lawn is back for one special service! Mark your calendar for September 6 and make plans to grab your lawn chair or blanket as we join together for one big outdoor worship service at 11:00a. Be sure to stick around after service, as The Smoking Pastor will be providing lunch! Feel free to bring a side dish to share, if you like. Kids programming will not be available, but kids of all ages are invited to join us as we worship.

We are currently receiving donations to support individuals, families, and communities impacted by the recent flooding in our area. 100% of every donation given through this fund will go directly toward local and regional flood relief and recovery efforts. Funds may be used to meet immediate needs, support trusted disaster-response partners, provide assistance to affected families, and help communities recover and rebuild in the weeks and months ahead. We are also collecting availability for future opportunities to serve as a volunteer, and are working closely with International Disaster Emergency Service (IDES) to determine when these service projects will be safe for us to start working on.

We are so excited for our upcoming annual Spiritual Growth Journey: The Way of Jesus! For six weeks beginning September 13, our entire church will focus on the life of Jesus as we continue in The Story. If you are not currently in a Venture Group, we’re encouraging you to join one during this time. Your group will be a place where you can talk about your experience, give encouragement, and challenge each other to grow. Whether this is your first Venture Group experience or you’ve known your group for years, this is an irreplaceable part of the study.
