Messiah Lutheran Church also has the Rummage Sale with a bake sale going on while they are making apple butter!! Busy weekend for you, made simpler by letting us do the cooking!!

It's BLUE!! The top layer of the playground surface is going on now! The machine that shreds the rubber mulch was playing hard to get, so we are a bit behind schedule, but it's gorgeous and safe! Puts a little bounce in your step! BUT, you can't try it out for 48-72 hours so the epoxy mixed with the mulch granules can set.
School starts tomorrow and we will have some fun things to do while we wait on the playground surface to set with the purchases you all made off of our wish list!! Thanks from me and the kids!!
Fencing will be finished soon and then a little perimeter dirt work--YEA!!!

Yesterday they started adding the music elements to the playground! Today the Rensing brothers are pouring our sidewalk that leads to the building red door!! We will be ready for school on Tuesday!!

The handoff from Caley Meyer with Meyer Excavating to Luis and crew from Playground Boss to end the dig out and begin the installation of subsurface, new playground elements and pour in place surface--exciting things are happening!! In the picture, you can see the sleeves for the fence posts sticking out. That was a very hot project completed by Messiah Lutheran Church members Jason Selle, Craig Millikin, Nathan Fruend, Tyler Bango, Bob Thouvenin and our own Pastor Tim Chase. They will install the rest of the fence after the surface has been poured. Any guesses on what color the playground surface will be?? Keep eyes open-more to come!
