It saddens me to say, but due to lack of interest, Easter Egg Dying will be canceled this year. We hope you and your families have a blessed holiday!

Good evening!

UPDATE:

Sunday School will resume 9/26! Please bring your child directly to the Sunday School room entrance off the courtyard before service. (10am) We will be requiring the children to wear masks and teachers will wear masks as well. Your child’s health and safety is our top priority.

If you choose to stay for coffee hour, a teacher will remain in the classroom WITH the children for their own snack hour. This will give the parents time to chat with the other members of the congregation, and the kids can play, finish their project, or watch a movie.

A Google doc for sign up went out with the most recent newsletter. If you are not on the church email list, let me know on 9/26 and I will get your preferred email to the right person. There will be paper forms available when you bring your child to class.

I look forward to teaching your children again and meet new friends. As always the lessons will focus on the Presbyterian religion and preparing your child to become the next generation of congregants. Most of all we want your child to have fun, socialize, and learn about faith.

I look forward to seeing everyone on the 26th! If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to me anytime!

See you soon

Maggie

UPDATE PLEASE SHARE:

It is very disappointing, but the session has decided to postpone resuming services. We had hoped to open back up in a limited way on 7/12, but during an emergency meeting we decided the health of our congregation is more important.

NO SERVICE 7/12 and until further notice. I’m so sorry for those who were looking forward to getting back to “normal”, but you and your family are our main concern. Please like the church’s main page for updates, and we will update you as well.

We miss you and pray we get through this.

Hello Church Family!

Boy, where do we start? First, how is everyone doing? A little less stressed now that school has ended?

We miss everyone so much, young and old(er). Here are some updates that aren’t completely set in stone, but if there are any changes we will absolutely update you.

1. Church services will resume this Sunday 7/12 for shortened services. Masks are required, and while there is sanitizer in the sanctuary we encourage you to bring your own. Please adhere to social distancing, and as far as seating, seats are marked off to keep everyone compliant with safe distances from each other.

2. There will be NO children’s story or Sunday School for the foreseeable future. Once the schools lay out their plans, we will do our best to follow a similar model for the kids. It truly saddens us that this is what has to happen, but we just want everyone safe and healthy. When we know, you’ll know!

3. If you choose to attend services, please arrive by 9:30am so we can get everyone into the sanctuary in a safe and efficient manner.

Pastor, Session, Deacons, and other members of our congregation have been communicating and staying on top of the latest rules and information so we can resume services in a safe and healthy way. Please be patient with any changes or adjustments we make over the coming weeks. If we all work together, we will make it through.

Please message, email, call, or text with any questions or concerns, and please follow the church’s main FB page for more updates!

We miss your faces so much!!!

Good morning everyone!

While the new normal is on the horizon, we wanted to share the CDCs page on mental health during this pandemic. As adults we can recognize that we may be a bit down, overwhelmed, or anxious. Our kids can’t recognize or articulate these feelings.

While we don’t want to spread panic or misinformation, the CDC website is a good place to get updated correct information and resources. As you scroll you’ll find ways to keep yours and your child’s mental health in mind, and ways to battle the blues.

As always we are here for your kids. Please reach out if we can do anything for them or you.

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a virus (more specifically, a coronavirus) identified as the cause of an outbreak of respiratory illness first detected in Wuhan, China.

The Session & Deacons are still committed to our church. While we couldn’t gather around a table, Pastor still lead us in prayer and we are keeping the health and safety of our congregation in mind. When we have info, you’ll have info. Until we can see each other again, Pastor Debbie said it best, “The church isn’t the building, it’s the people.”

😍Happy Tuesday everyone😍 We wanted you all to know that the Session & Deacons met last night , via Zoom and continue to work for the needs of our church & community! We will be closed until May 31st. We will visit where we are at then with COVID-19 and make a decision on whether to open or extend closure! Continue to stay safe & be well ! God Bless 🙏🏻

Good Evening everyone!

If your child would like to attend Sundays Zoom for a craft please message our FB page the email address we can send your invite too.

Here is a list of supplies you will need. If you do not have these items, please let me know by Saturday evening, and I can drop them off to your stoop.

1 (per child) brown paper sandwich bag - if you dont have a bag, a piece of cardboard will do. I have 2 versions of this project for those without a paper bag.
2-3 sheets of white paper
crayons or markers
glue (stick or liquid)

We will be making "Feelings Pals" or for our older kids puppets. A fun pretend friend for the small kids to share their thoughts with while they are away from their friends and just a fun silly puppet for our older kids.

Any friends and family of the confirmation class, please pass this info along. We miss them and would love to see their faces and check in with them.

Hope to see you Sunday!

Hello to all our littles and parents!!

I’ll be posting a list of supplies needed for a zoom meeting I’ll be scheduling for Sunday. Don’t worry, it’s items that can be found around the house during this pandemic. Something simple to engage the kids for an hour.

We know they are going through a lot being away from their routine and friends. We want to stress that we are here for them. Contact us if they need a new face to see or even someone to read them a story.

This pandemic is lasting longer and becoming something we didn’t plan for or imagine. Our first responders, medical staff, and essential workers are hero’s, but the kids are hero’s too. Something like this hasn’t happened in theirs or even my lifetime. If there is ANYTHING we can do, please let us know.

Info on Sunday’s zoom to follow.

Stay healthy and safe!
