Seeds of hope 🌱 for a couple of years now we’ve been helping local pastors get seeds to distribute throughout the community. This past season, beans were distributed to the pastor of a church of 300 in the mountains of Desarmes. We got to see some photos and videos of the harvest, as the beans from the seeds were distributed amongst the church members! We love seeing church leaders meet the tangible needs of those in their communities! Praise the God of the harvest!

Carnival week 🥳 Carnival is an important cultural season in Haiti before Lent! To celebrate, the students made these masks together on campus! Aren’t they cute?

It was encouraging to see the students engaged and the teachers leading well. We are so blessed to see a structured environment for these children.

“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given.” God has brought His light into the world—and that light continues to shine in Haiti, in our communities, and in our own hearts. Thank you for walking alongside us, for caring, praying, and believing with us that God is still making all things new.
We learn so much from our brothers and sisters in Haiti where daily dependence on God is not theoretical but necessary. May we all live with complete dependence on God as in doing so, the beauty of His presence shines brighter. Blessings are amplified. Faith becomes tangible. Joy becomes resilient. Merry Christmas!

Hurricane Melissa hit Haiti last week and our hearts break hearing about the at least 30 deaths that occurred on the island. Our hearts rejoice hearing that conditions are safe enough for some schools to open again tomorrow!

Nevertheless, we need prayer and support! In some communities, hurricane and hardship have brought unity but in others, gang groups have taken advantage of vulnerability and violence has broken out, leading to even more refugees. Pray for the community Morriseau where we have seen some heart breaking footage of the aftermath.

We continue to pray and believe that healing and justice are coming. There are Haitian men and women of God who are incredible leaders and are being God’s hands and feet in the midst of all of this! Hurricane season is never easy for Haiti, but there is always hope in the Storm 🇭🇹
