Due to my surgery, I sadly missed my son's tournament this weekend. I wasn't able to be there in person, but my heart was with them every step of the way. As I checked in after every game, I was reminded of a powerful lesson: IT TAKES A TEAM TO WIN.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (SGA) of the Oklahoma City Thunder played his heart out and put on an incredible performance. He left everything on the court and gave it his all. But as great as he played, he reminded us that no one wins alone. IT TAKES A TEAM.
The same was true for the PA Legends. THEY PLAYED TOGETHER. FOUGHT TOGETHER. BELIEVED TOGETHER. And because they came together as one, they walked away as CHAMPIONS! π
EVERY PLAYER MATTERED. EVERY CONTRIBUTION MATTERED. EVERY ROLE MATTERED.
That's what championship teams are made of, not one person carrying the load, but everyone doing their part and giving their best.
I am so proud of these young men, especially my son, Jayden. What God is doing in their lives is bigger than basketball. He's teaching them discipline, teamwork, perseverance, leadership, character, and faith.
This championship is not the destination, it's only part of the journey. The journey has just begun, and I truly believe the best is yet to come.
Congratulations, PA Legends! Thank you for reminding us all that TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK.
5-0 CHAMPIONS! πβ€οΈππΎ
