Tomorrow (Sunday 05/10/2026) is our annual Decoration Day - Please join us between 2:00 and 4:00 PM to visit with the final resting place for your beloved family members who have passed. Bring flowers for their graves, bring the family and tell them the family history, talk with the Cemetery Committee, meet others who have the same place in common with your families!!

***Reminder - Sunday, May 10, 2026 is both Mother's Day and New Hope Cemetery's Decoration Day and is just a few weeks away. Please make plans to join us on that day to honor your dearly departed loved ones who are interred in our cemetery. Bring flowers for the grave sites and stop by the Cemetery Committee table to chat with members of the committee, make donations to the Cemetery Upkeep fund, or just to say "hello". If you wish to contribute but can't personally attend that day, please find the USPS address in the original post to send your contributions. We look forward to seeing you on Decoration Day!

Sunday, May 10, 2026 - Save the Date!!! This is Mother's Day, and it's also New Hope Cemetery Decoration Day!!! Make your plans now to come to New Hope Cemetery's Decoration Day to honor your family members who have passed and are buried here.
- You're invited to start the day off with bringing your Mom and your family to church at New Hope Baptist Church for Sunday School at 10:00 and / or Worship Service at 11:00.
- Local restaurants can be found in surrounding towns of Lonoke, Carlisle, Cabot, and Beebe to treat your Mom or your family to a great lunch just a few miles from the church and cemetery in any direction.
- After lunch, come on back over to the cemetery, where members of the Cemetery Committee will be available 2:00 - 4:00 PM, to discuss our cemetery, help find graves - if possible, and to take donations for the upkeep of the cemetery.
**If you can't make the trip, please consider contributing to our cemetery maintenance fund, which is used to keep our cemetery looking beautiful year round. You may send checks to New Hope Cemetery Fund, C/O Pat White, 557 New Hope Road, Carlisle, AR, 72024. Thank you and be blessed!

We recently had a very large tree limb fall in the cemetery. Thank you to the person who removed the limb for us! The damage was minimal, although two headstones were damaged when the limb fell.

Sunday, October 12, 2025 - "Save the Date"!! New Hope Baptist Church will be celebrating its 175th anniversary on Sunday, October 12, 2025!!! We would like to invite everyone to help us celebrate this momentous event in our Christian history! We are still in the "planning" mode and don't have all the details ironed out yet, but we are sure that it will be a wonderful day to be in the House of Our Lord! There will be music...singing...a review of the history of New Hope...Dr. Rex Horne, Executive Director of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention will bring our message that day...lunch will be served...maybe some games or more music and singing - or both - after lunch? We'll keep you posted!
