Freedom for Youth - Carlisle & Hartford We provide a FREE after school, faith-based, tutoring program for K-8th grade. We help with homework, tell a bible story, and teach our youth leadership!

Freedom for Youth Ministries, founded in Des Moines in 2003, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit on a mission to reach Iowa's youth with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our role is to unite and empower Christian communities to reach young people from kindergarten through 22-years-old with programs that help them stay in school, learn life skills, prepare for the workplace, and develop healthy relationships. Our

programs include tutoring, after-school activities, meals, and supportive employment training—all centered on the message of Jesus Christ's saving grace.

Hidden Acres is a great camp. I attend the women retreat every year. Food is great! If you are considering camp this summer, I recommend Hidden Acres. Camp Good News is another great option, stay tuned for more info on Camp Good News.

Don’t forget to sign up for our exciting new summer event—Camp Kick-Off! Registration for this event ends on May 23.

Camp Kickoff is a one-day kids’ program with an optional parents’ program. Our counselors will guide kids through camp-in-a-day with chapel, games, and other camp activities. Parents: drop your kids off for the day, or choose to stay for a relaxing program geared towards you. Lunch is provided for both groups.
