It seems the grounds at CUMC have become the place to raise a family this spring and summer!

First, our bluebird next box is currently home to a beautiful clutch of bluebird eggs. Then, one of our member witnessed a doe giving birth to a fawn in one of the front basins - a truly amazing sight! And as if that wasn't enough excitement, a mallard duck decided that one of our flower beds near the church entrance was the perfect place to build a nest. She now has 6 eggs tucked safely inside.

From birds to deer to ducks, God's creation is thriving all around us. Keep an eye out on your next visit! You never know what new neighbors you might spot!

Join us Tuesdays: June 23-July 14, 6pm at Carlisle UMC (333 S Spring Garden St, Carlisle) for The Chosen Season 3. The Chosen season 3 centers on the emotional and spiritual toll of ministry, following the Sermon on the Mount, as Jesus sends his twelve disciples out two-by-two. The season deals with intense themes like marital strain, miscarriage, and political tension, culminating in the feeding of the 5,000 and Jesus walking on water. Led by Vicki Morley and Roger Woods.
