Our church had a double baby shower for little Charlie Brown and Corey Stoddard today. These little boys belong to sisters, Macie Howard and Shasta Stoddard. These precious baby boys are a great blessing to our church family. We had a great time at the shower and I am sharing a few pics that I took. By the way, my husband Jerry Eubanks actually won one of the baby games!

We want to let everyone know that Sister Sarah Pollard had a heart attack on Tuesday of this week. She was taken to Harrison County Memorial and had 5 stints put in. She got to come home yesterday evening. Please remember her in prayer and if you have time, maybe call and check on her. I am sure she would appreciate it.

Joyce Stoddard's funeral arrangements are 5 to 8 visitation on Monday the 9th, at Clark's Funeral Home in Carlisle. The funeral will be at 12 noon on Tuesday, the 10th, at the funeral home. The Barterville Community Church is hosting a meal for the family and friends at the Barterville church fellowship hall, following the funeral. Please be in prayer for her family during this time of mourning, as well as her friends and our church family. Everyone loved Joyce. She always had a positive attitude and was a great blessing to our church. She always told us "God is good, all the time! What a testimony for someone who suffered so much. She knew that the cancer might take her life, but it couldn't touch her soul. Praise God. 🙏💜

We will be having service tomorrow at both churches. We will do a live video of our service in the morning at 11:15. There's still some slick areas, so please be careful. If you don't feel safe in coming don't. Hopefully the weather will warm up next week and all of this mess will be gone.🙏💜

Joyce Stoddard got to go home to Heaven around 11 this morning. Please pray for her family and our church family. 🙏💔

Due to the extreme weather that's headed our way, we will not be having service tomorrow morning. We pray that everyone will stay safe and warm throughout the duration of the storm. 🙏💜

Happy New Year to all of our church family, friends and neighbors! May this be a year that we can all draw closer to God and each other. May we be aware of what's going on around us and be ready to be God's hands and feet whenever the opportunity arises. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful church family and we invite anyone who's looking for a church to join us.🙌🙏💜

Since we didn't have church last Sunday and we also didn't have our Christmas meal that was planned for that day, we are moving our meal to the first Sunday in January, the 4th. Oakland Mills is having their meal this Sunday and several of the church have family plans the Sunday after Christmas.
