Our Missionary speaker this Sunday:

Wayne King.

Wayne King became Executive Director of Mission Journeys on October 1, 2022.

Wayne has been on staff with Mission Journeys since 2019. In August 2019, Wayne retired from the Kentucky Department of Education and began an expanded role with Mission Journeys as Associate Director in charge of the Global Bible School (GBS). His work with GBS includes teaching and training church leaders in the Philippines, Pakistan, Tanzania, Zambia, and Guyana.

Wayne brings a unique set of qualifications and abilities to Mission Journeys.

His formal education includes a Bachelor's degree from Winston-Salem Bible College in Missionary Aviation and Bible, a Bachelor's degree from the University of Kentucky in Education, and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Omaha in Urban Studies and Aviation Management. Wayne has served as a bi-vocational minister for churches in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Kentucky. He has extensive involvement in church leadership in several congregations, serving as youth leader, choir director, teacher, Sunday school superintendent, deacon and elder.

In his business career, Wayne began working in the aviation industry in the mid 1980’s as a flight instructor and aircraft maintenance technician. In 1990, he started a rigorous and successful high school aviation program in Lexington, KY, remaining in that position for over 10 years. In 2001, he started working for the state of Kentucky as a consultant in the Department of Education, working with over 90 schools in a continuous improvement process.

Wayne and his wife, Kim, have been married for 40 years and reside in Lawrenceburg, KY. The Kings are active members at Fox Creek

Proud of Aaron.... He worked so hard for this and I know the Lord has plans for his future.

Jill and I Have a lot of things going on this week, and to get done. Aaron & Elizabeth have much to get done for school this week too. So I asked Kuda if he was able to come and preach. Kuda said yes. I am thankful for Kuda's help. Greet him with much love.

Be reading 2 Corinthians, as I plan a few sermons from there. After that we are starting Romans. Keep everyone in prayer. Thanks for being so wonderful to me and my family.

Hi everyone,

Just an update, we will go live at some point today, more on spiritual gifts. Keep Glenna's family in prayer as she has gone to greet Jesus and God. She has been a real blessing for us, much prayers, and love to all.

Hi everybody, I hope you are all doing well during this crazy weather. I talked with Fred Allen and the roads and parking lot are a sheet of ice at Stoney Creek, so I will be doing another spiritual gifts devo in preparing us for the Sermon when we meet again. Read the scriptures I post. Be safe and stay active spiritually.

I will be posting a devo Serm, concerning Spiritual Gifs, don't know exactly when, you can check back. Review it and it will help you be ready for when we meet again in person. You can start by looking into 1 Corinthians 12-14. There is a lot of cold weather, ice, and some snow. Be careful today. If you need anything give me a text.
