NOTICE:
The Carlisle Cemetery is not responsible for any damages or theft involving headstones, markers, decorations, or other grave site items — unless the damage is caused by cemetery staff.

We encourage families to use caution when placing personal items and to check with their insurance provider for coverage options. Most homeowners policies cover headstones.

We are currently in the process of getting signs placed in the cemetery regarding this issue. Also, concerned citizens are more than welcome to contact the Carlisle Cemetery Board regarding any issues.

The Carlisle Cemetery is currently accepting sealed bids for the sale of a John Deere Z920M zero-turn mower with 2,301.4 hours of use.

📩 Bidding Details:

All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope

Equipment is sold as-is

‼️Bids will be opened and reviewed at the discretion of the Carlisle Cemetery Board‼️

‼️IMPORTANT CEMETERY NOTICE‼️

As part of our ongoing efforts to maintain the beauty and safety of the cemetery grounds, we kindly remind all families and visitors that any flowers or decorations not in compliance with cemetery guidelines must be removed by May 31st.

After this date, cemetery staff will begin removing all items that do not meet the approved regulations. This includes, but is not limited to, decorations made of glass or metal, items not placed in approved vases, or any arrangements that interfere with grounds maintenance.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in helping us preserve a respectful and well-maintained environment for all.

If you have any questions about what is permitted, please contact the cemetery office.
