I've been a little quiet lately, but don't think that means Sabrina's Suitcases hasn't been out doing the work!

A team of children with a Vacation Bible School in Woodland, Maine decided they wanted to get in on the charity this summer! Amazingly, these kids raised $1,500!!!

I'm amazed at their ability to do this in just ONE WEEK! Absolutely amazing!

The money was used to purchase 50 suitcases by the VBS leader, Kristin D. Kristen was also able to purchase 50 hygiene kits to go inside! What a blessing that Kristin and I were able to connect online, and bring my idea to fruition through the help of the next generation.

Together, we can change the world. If a tribe of children can raise over one thousand dollars for charity, just think about what we can do when we ALL come together.

Sabrina's Suitcases is about so much more than a suitcase.

It's about love, humanity, and community.

On Friday, July 10 at Presque Isle International Airport, there will be an opportunity to learn about missionary aviation: what it is; how to support it; how to serve in it. Linnie Weeks of Samaritan's Purse will be speaking. And, if the weather permits, Linnie will have his airplane present that has "Jesus Saves" painted on the bottom of the wings.

In addition to promoting missionary aviation in general, there will be opportunity for teens to learn about opportunities to pursue aviation. Perhaps one day a teen you know will be a "PIlot with Purpose" flying to the ends of the earth.
