This year at the cabin we all had a great time. We put close 2000 miles on the car doing a lot of site seeing. We visited picture rock on a boat, Springs attend a nice little church on the lake plus the bridge and more. We had great food and a great feast on the last day on the grill with fun on the toys. Looking forward to next year. Details on the walk coming soon.

About a month ago Lutheran Men in Mission of northwest Ohio went for a visit to Redeemer Lutheran Church in Toledo and met with a group led by a man named Emery l. Fair who is doing great things for the young men in the community. He is rehabbing a house with the help of young men while teaching them a possible trade for the future. What he needs is our help from people who have knowledge of plumbing and electrical work who can talk with him or work with him at the house. He could also use help on finding places to purchase materials at a low price to keep his mission going. If you know of someone or you can help please call Emery at 419-340-8688 or email him at [email protected]. We found him to be a great man trying to do a great thing for his community. Thank you.

Please save the date of April 25 for a Spring Retreat at Trinity Lutheran Church in Bryan Ohio. Registration is only $10 or what ever you can afford and begins at 8:30 AM. We will have a service with holy communion, a Bible study, a speaker, and a cookout for lunch. Things wrap up at around 2:00 -2:30 PM. Also we will be beginning our promotion for this year's Mackinac Bridge Walk. For a sponsor/walker form please go to the above website. As before funds raised will all go to Luther Home of Mercy, Williston Ohio and Filling Home of Napoleon Ohio.
