What does it help someone in Israel if I here in America do an extra mitzvah?
Jews are connected with a bond that's higher than country, language or anything that can be physically explained. Just like we feel the pain and worry about what's going on, because we're connected, so too is our spiritual connection.
A mitzvah we do in America helps our brothers and sisters all the way in Israel. Like we're connected in pain, so too are we connected in spiritual gain.
