Bring your school packs for the Back to School blessing this Sunday!

ALL ARE WELCOME to join us this Sunday, Aug. 16, for a Back to School "Sundae" Blessing of the Backpacks during our regular worship services in Carbondale (9 am) and Glenwood Springs (10:30 am). Kids can bring their backpacks, and teachers are invited to bring their computer bags, briefcases, shopping bags, or whatever it is you haul stuff in to and from school each day. God bless all of our educators and students!

Pull up a pew for storytime!

ALL ARE WELCOME to join us each Sunday through August 30 as we explore the "Strangest Things in the Bible." The Netflix sensation "Stranger Things" has kept us on the edge of our seats for almost 10 years, but did you know that the Bible also has some bizarre, strange, and downright weird stories, too? A talking donkey, an unseen army, a fortune-telling witch … grab some popcorn, pull up a pew, and have a listen with us!

The winner of the Watermelon Challenge will receive a prize! All ages and genders may participate!

TRAIL OFFICE HOURS: All are welcome to join Pastor Andrew for the next in our series of Wednesday morning summer hikes. Meet at 8:30 am Wednesday, July 15, at First United Methodist Church in Glenwood Springs, for a hike up Scout Trail to Forest Hollow (trekking poles recommended). Next week we'll be hiking Red Hill in Carbondale!
