MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of Women of Purpose Ministry is to empower women, in various stages of their lives. The need of a women’s ministry was recognized back in the Old Testament when throughout the land the men would go to war and most of the year the women were alone. As the Gospels were written, the problem still existed and the Holy Spirit directed the Apostle Paul to again settle their disputes. This resulted in the elder women to be trained by the church leaders on the matters of God so they could teach the younger women to establish order in the church, in their homes, in their marriages and with their children. Thusly, the women’s ministry was established hundreds of years ago. As for this ministry is concerned, we will go back to the basics of building our foundation on the Word of God and proper training in the matters of the church and our role in them along with our spiritual development. There are Five Components of the W*P Ministry:
