Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood. On June 17, Carmody Hills Baptist Church is partnering to host our Juneteenth Blood Drive in recognition of National Sickle Cell Awareness Day, and we need your help.

Our goal is to collect 30 pints of blood, which means we need at least 45 appointments scheduled. Right now, we still need more donors to sign up.

A single blood donation can help save multiple lives. Whether you are a first-time donor or a regular donor, your gift can make a difference for someone fighting cancer, recovering from surgery, living with sickle cell disease, or facing a medical emergency.

We're excited to announce that Covered & Becoming: A Sister-to-Sister Book & Bible Circle is back!

After a brief pause, we're gathering again to continue our journey through "Finding Me" by Viola Davis, while exploring how our personal stories intersect with God's greater purpose for our lives. Whether you've been with us from the beginning or are just joining in, there's a seat for you at the table.

Join us on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. as we discuss Chapters 8–11, share fellowship, encourage one another, and grow together in faith and authenticity. Expect meaningful conversation, laughter, reflection, and the kind of sisterhood that reminds us we are all still becoming who God has called us to be.

Bring your book (if you don't have one- we have a few extras), your Bible, and your heart. We can't wait to reconnect, catch up, and continue this beautiful journey together.

As many of you prepare to travel and spend time with family over the holiday weekend, we recognize that Memorial Day weekend is not the best time for many to fully participate in our Annual Mental Health Conference. Because we want this important conversation to reach and serve as many people as possible, we have decided to postpone the conference and select a better date for our community.
