"It is finished.” On this holy day we observe the passion and death of Christ, our Savior. God “laid on Him the iniquity of us all” and thus He is “the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.” At this Service, the passion narrative from the Gospel of John is read aloud as we meditate on the incredible love that drove Christ to lay down His life for us and for our salvation.

Today is Maundy Thursday. Join us in person or online (faithcapo.com) at 7:00 p.m. for the beginning of the Triduum.

“Maundy” derives from the Latin word mandatum meaning “commandment.” On the night of our Lord’s betrayal, He said, “a new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.” On this night, our Lord also instituted His Supper, was betrayed in the Garden, and began His suffering and passion. Thus, at the end of this Service, Psalm 22 is chanted as the Altar is stripped for Good Friday.

We will continue to work with our internet provider to correct the problems and we appreciate your patience as we work through it. While there is something special about watching our content "live" there are times when it may be less frustrating to wait until the recording is available.
