Looks like we made a good call on Beach Church this Sunday—lots of rain in tomorrow’s forecast! Join us in the chapel at 8:30 am with Jim Doran’s guitar magic or at 11 am in the sanctuary, with the magical band that includes Jim Doran on drums! And don’t forget to wear RED for Pentecost!

This Sunday, May 24, is Pentecost! That means a couple of things here at Cape May Presbyterian: 1) We ask everyone to wear red on Sunday, to remind us all of the flames of the Holy Spirit! 2) We begin our summer schedule of beach church at 8:30 am and celebration jazz at 11 am (more about that in a minute!).

HOWEVER, a complicating factor this week is the weather forecast, which is, in essence RAIN. Your worship committee therefore invites you to a first 8:30 am service in the chapel. Since Jim Doran ,with his trusty guitar, is our musician this week, we can happily gather in our lovely, intimate, and underused chapel, no amplification needed!

On the other hand, folks who love the band, the sanctuary and sleeping a little later will rejoice to find the band leading our music at the 11 am service in the sanctuary.

We are excited to celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit with you, and can’t wait to see us gathered all in red on Sunday!
