It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our friend and true servant of God, Robert Harris, Jr. We have had the blessing of working with Robert for the past 12 years in serving His people in need in Cape Girardeau. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. "Well done, my good and faithful servant, come share your master's joy." (Matthew 25: 23)

A big thank you to Food Giant in Cape Girardeau and their generous customers for donating 60 bags of food items from their Spirit of Holiday food drive. God bless all of you who participated in this act of kindness by helping those in need in our community. It is greatly appreciated!

You can make monetary or food donations by bringing them to St. Mary Cathedral Parish Office Mon-Fri 9 AM to 4 PM

You can make donations of food, especially canned vegetables (carrots, green beans,) and peanut butter any time. Our need has greatly increased. The average number of families has gone from 700 to 900 just during the last month and individuals served rose from 2,100 to 2,900.
So far, just this month of November, we have helped 571 families. Your help is so important and so very appreciated. Serving each other in our community is what Jesus asks of us. Thank you for your prayers and support!

A big thanks to St. Francis Healthcare System employees who packaged & donated over 1800 meals to our food pantry. What a beautiful act of charity which will really help the folks in our community that we serve. God bless you all!
