Gospel (Matthew 16:21–27): Jesus tells his disciples of his coming passion and calls them to take up their cross. True discipleship means choosing self-giving love over safety and selfish gain.

In today's Gospel, Peter declares Jesus as the Son of the Living God. This confession of faith is the rock of our Church. As Ladies of SKD, we are called to live out this truth through service and love.
Let us grow in faith and friendship, answering God's call by supporting our parish and neighbors through prayer and charity. May we share Christ's love with everyone we meet!

St. Clare followed Francis’s example of humble service and loving devotion to Christ. Her life of prayer, simplicity, and care for the poor inspires us to place God at the center of all we do.
As Ladies of SKD, let us grow in faith, friendship, and service — answering God’s call by supporting our parish, comforting those in need, and sharing Christ’s love through prayerful deeds.
