Mark your calendars — Splash Camp is back for Summer 2026! ☀️
We’re thrilled to return for another amazing summer at Splash Camp!
Below is some early information regarding this upcoming camp year, including the registration date for Splash Camp Cape Charles and updates on Cheriton:

1. Splash Camp Cape Charles will return to its normal 8 weeks!
Camp will open on June 15 and run through August 7.
This means we will open directly following the final week of school for NCPS students.

2. Splash Camp Cheriton is expected to return!
Splash Camp Cheriton will again operate out of the African Baptist Church for three weeks.
We were overjoyed by our time there last summer and are excited about this return!
Registration and additional important details for Splash Camp Cheriton will be announced at a later date.
Splash Camp Cheriton will overlap with Cape Charles’s fifth through seventh weeks, running from July 13 – July 31.

3. Splash Camp Cape Charles Registration will open on 🚨 Monday, April 6 at 9:00 A.M. 🚨
Registration will once again be completed fully through our online system. There will no longer be an in-person paper application.
On registration day, we may set up an in-person registration computer kiosk at the camp office if requested.
To help make registration more fair, we will again use the significantly shortened initial registration form that was introduced in 2025. This form was proven to be more user-friendly and takes only a few minutes to complete.
If your child receives a spot, we will later ask you to complete a longer registration form at a later date to finish the process.

4. Splash Camp is offered to children ages 5–12.
For liability purposes, we are unable to accept children younger than age 5.
Please only register children for weeks they will be age 5 or older.
Camp hours are 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.

5. Splash Camp Cape Charles includes a weekly fee of $55 per child, per week.
Occasionally, there may be field trip fees as well. We strive to keep trip fees at no more than $10 per child.

6. We will once again partner with our local YMCA, Cape Charles Community Sailing, and others in the community for many great opportunities for our campers!
These opportunities will also be available for campers attending Splash Camp Cheriton.

7. We have been blown away by the interest from mission teams planning to join us this summer!
As many of you know, these groups do an incredible job planning fun and meaningful weeks alongside our staff. This summer will include both new teams and familiar faces.

Weeks 5–7 will correspond with Splash Camp Cheriton Weeks 1–3.
