We are based out of Port Canaveral, Florida. We are located just outside Port Canaveral. Port Canaveral is the second busiest cruise port in the world. The Canaveral Port Ministry is a not-for-profit organized under IRS 501c3 regulations. Our mission is to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the international crewmembers that visit Port Canaveral. There are 8 cruise ships as well as 4

to6 cargo ships that dock at Port Canaveral weekly. In 2018, there were 45,300 seafarer visits to our hospitality center.

May 2026 was a busy month even though we said goodbye to several ships. We had 11,004 seafarer visits with 1,029 for the first time; we received 10,410 packages and distributed 11,525! That brings our visits for 2026 to 54,715!

The Southern Baptist Convention is coming to the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando this June. There are expected to be 20,000 in attendance. Port Ministries International will have an exhibitor booth set up throughout the convention from June 7-10. We are looking for volunteers to volunteer at Port Ministries International's booth who would be willing to share about port ministries in general as well as Canaveral Port Ministry.
