LENT DAY 3: Amos 1:1 "The Words of Amos," The name Amos was ranked 997th in popular baby names of 2010. Amos means "to carry the load." Amos did just that! He carried the load of God's wrath to his people. Jesus had a special name too! Matthew 1:21 "You will call His name Jesus, because he will save His people from their sins." Despite God's wrath vor our sin, but because of Jesus your name is written in the Lamb's book of Life!

LENT DAY 2: Amos 1:1 "The words of Amos, who was among the shepherds of Tekoa." Ever met someone where you thought, "What can I learn from him." Maybe you have a professor this sememster that is coming to mind. Maybe you've thought that about a Pastor. People thought that about the Prophet Amos, a shepherd, who wasn't a professional Church Worker. God calls the most inlikely people to accomplish His will. He call you and me to be His children through Jesus and now gives us the opportunity to be engaged in sharing God's will with others. RESTORE THE ROAR!
