WHERE ARE THE INTERCESSORS?

There are too many who want the title but don’t want the altar. They want to be called an intercessor, but they don’t want to put their knees in the dirt!

Let me tell you something: intercession is not a “6th-fold gifting” given only to a select few in the Body of Christ. It is not another ministry office or exclusive calling. INTERCESSION IS THE CALLING OF EVERY BELIEVER WHO HAS BEEN BLOOD-WASHED BY JESUS CHRIST!

You don’t need a title to pray.
You don’t need a platform to intercede.
You don’t need a position to stand in the gap.
IF YOU BELONG TO JESUS, YOU ARE CALLED TO PRAY!

Prayer is not something we are forced to do. PRAYER IS OUR PRIVILEGE!

We literally get to partner with Jesus—the Great Intercessor—and declare, "His Kingdom come! His will be done! On earth as it is in Heaven!”

And if you think prayer is nothing more than a list of petitions and requests, you haven’t discovered the depths of prayer yet!

You may START with petitions, but you will not END there!

Prayer will take you from the petition to the Presence.
From the request to relationship.
From asking Him to move to becoming available for Him to move THROUGH YOU!

Prayer is the calling of EVERY BELIEVER!

And I believe it is time for the Body of Christ to return to the holy convocation of prayer unto the Lord!

It’s time to get back on the wall.
It’s time to take our place.
It’s time to watch and pray.
It’s time to contend.
It’s time to stand in the gap.

I HEAR THE SOUND OF WAR DRUMS! (08/14/26)

Sitting in our Vanguard office today with some worship on while I start my day, my spirit began to stir. I began to inquire of the Lord what I was feeling, and I heard this phrase: "the war drums are beginning to sound."

First and foremost, DO NOT BE AFRAID! I do not believe in fear-mongering "prophetic words" to start to stir up fear, anxiety, and worry. Any "word" of the Lord that brings fear, I would highly recommend questioning if it is the Lord. The Lord does not bring fear; He brings correction with love, and it may bring a new fear or awe of Himself with it; but a word that is laced with fear, anxiety, and worry is not from the heart of God. A word from the Lord can bring a sense of warning and caution, but it should ultimately bring you to a place of prayer and intercession, not fear!

As I am even typing this, I hear this from the Lord:

"Do you hear the sound? It's the sound of the war drums. The nations are planning and scheming against Me, the Almighty, but know that I sit in the heavens and laugh! For who can stand against the Lord? For I say, do not fear what lies ahead, but press on! For I am your light in the midst of the darkness that is surrounding the nations. I am rising up with My mighty hand and outstretched arm, and you will see wonders among the nations.

For I will make Myself known in the land, and it will be evident; no one will be able to dismiss what I am about to do in the land. Prepare yourself, for the coming days will be like the days of Nehemiah. You will need to have a sword in one hand and a tool in the other. There is much work to be done, but what would take months and years will begin to take weeks and days.

Know I am strategically moving and shifting those I have called into place. It will be like a realignment of the spine, one quick adjustment after another until Kingdom alignment is in place. Know today that I am moving and shaking everything that can be shaken. DO NOT WORRY and DO NOT FEAR what you see with your eyes! You are in the palm of My hand, and I am holding all things together by the Word of My power. I am the Lord, and who, I say, WHO can stand against Me? Who can oppose and win? Who can defeat? Who can conquer? Who are you, O nations, that plan the destruction of My people? Know that I know the very thoughts you think and the very words you ponder in your heart. I see and know all things! For I am Almighty, and I will make Myself known among the nations," says the Lord.

Young Preacher/Minister,

Jesus never called us to be popular; He called us to deny ourselves, pick up our cross, and follow Him. If you are striving to be noticed and popular in the pulpit, you will only get there by the arm of the flesh.

I encourage you to enjoy being an arrow in the quiver of the Lord. It is in the quiver where you are restored, refreshed, and resharpened. The quiver is not a place of rest or boredom; it is a place of preparation for the fight.

No one needs to tell you that you are called. If He called you, that is all the confirmation you need.

If you have not already found yourself a mentor, FIND ONE! Let them teach you, equip you, train you, and correct you. Be the clay on the Potter’s wheel—moldable, pliable, and ready to be shaped by the Master’s hand. Be willing to learn, willing to grow, and willing to receive correction. If you cannot be corrected, you cannot be trusted!

Remember, the platform is not our goal; His feet are.

Prayer must come before the platform. Prayer will sustain you when people criticize you. Prayer will lift you up when people tear you down. Prayer will help you see what the enemy is scheming.

Young preacher, be a man or woman of prayer. When the time is right, you will be shot out and hit the target the Lord has for you.
