Brad Barker - Vanguard Ministries Husband to Melissa. Vanguard Ministries Multimedia Specialist, Minister, and Prayer Director. Brad was born and raised in a Christian home.

We live to be a holy provocation; to provoke the Church toward revival and the lost toward repentance. As a child, he encountered the presence of the Lord during weekly prayer meetings that his parents attended on Friday nights. These meetings left a lasting impression on Brad's heart and stirred a lifelong desire to contend for the glory of God. His life was deeply marked by the fires of revival

during his early college years, igniting a hunger to see the Body of Christ step into its full identity and authority as the Bride of Christ—the warrior Bride. In 2021, Brad joined Vanguard Ministries on the frontlines and currently serves as the ministry's multimedia specialist, minister, and Prayer Director. He and his wife, Melissa, reside in Pensacola, Florida, and stand with Vanguard Ministries as "a holy provocation—to provoke the Church toward revival and the lost toward repentance." Just because someone can “read your mail” doesn’t make them a prophet. Fortune tellers can reveal information too. According to the Word of God, the marks of a true prophet are clear:

1. Pointing people to Jesus — “Behold the Lamb of God...”
2. Calling people to repentance — “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand...”
3. Living a life of prayer and intercession — “Here I am, Lord, send me.”

Many want the title of “prophet,” but few are willing to carry the weight of the calling. Spiritual gifts are beautiful, and I honor them all, but if the walk doesn’t match the talk, do the Body of Christ a favor: sit down and be quiet.

The days of performing, self-promoting, prostituting prophets are coming to an end. It’s time for the true prophetic voices — those forged in the wilderness and hidden in the caves — to rise and speak.

This nation needs prophets who will call people back to repentance, back to the Lord, and who will stand in the gap through prayer and intercession. The season of hiding is over. The time to stand up and speak out is now.
