Some Sundays are hard to put into words. Today was one of them. ❤️
There was certainly a bittersweetness as we gathered for Pastor Mark’s final Sunday with us at East Fork. We are so thankful for the years God has allowed us to worship, serve, grow, and walk together, and saying goodbye to this chapter is not easy.
And yet, even in the midst of change, God reminded us so beautifully today that His work continues.
We gathered around the Lord’s Table, remembering the sacrifice of Jesus and the grace that has made us His own. And then we had the incredible joy of celebrating three lives changed by the Gospel as they followed Christ in baptism! 🌊🙌
What a picture of the faithfulness of God—looking back with gratitude for all He has done, celebrating what He is doing right now, and trusting Him completely for what is still to come.
Today held some tears. It held a lot of joy. Most of all, it held a reminder that Jesus is faithful, His Gospel is still changing lives, and His Church keeps moving forward.
We are grateful for you, Pastor Mark, Bethany, Elijah, and Isaac, and we are grateful for what God is doing not only at East Fork but at Pole Creek as well.
To God be the glory for the great things He has done—and for the great things He will continue to do. ❤️
