As we launch God's vision for our church, our code reminds us of how we can relentlessly pursue one more to encounter Jesus not only at church, but in the Canton community.

Join us THIS SATURDAY, February 12th from 9-11am at the church annex corner 6900 Haggerty Rd. Canton as we prayer walk different areas in Canton to see where God is moving and calling us to serve.

We will start at the annex with some worship, break into walking teams with our destinations, and then return to the annex to debrief. ☺🥰

Shining Christ's love this Christmas



Hello Sisters,
‘Tis the season for shining Christ’s love by serving!
Matthew 5:16 says “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
What a wonderful way we can SHOW God’s love and hope to those who do not yet know Him!

Here are some ways you can serve those in our communities with friends and/or your small group

Christmas opportunities
1.Every Walmart has their Project Angel Christmas tree at every store entrance. Project Angel Tree provides toys and necessities to children of incarcerated parents. Instructions are on the child’s ‘ornament.’

2.The Salvation Army of Southeast Michigan has several upcoming opportunities:

Bell Ringers Needed:
This year we will be out in full force, ringing to help our neighbors stay in their homes for Christmas and beyond. We need bell ringers to help us fight pandemic poverty so that families in need can find a way through this difficult season. Together we will raise money, have fun, share our experiences, and make a lasting difference in the community.

Toy Shop Preparation:
Volunteers are needed to bag toys for children in the Christmas Assistance Program.
Details Include:
· Saturday, December 11, 2021
· 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
· Lunch will be provided
· The Wayne Westland Salvation Army Corps is located at 2300 S. Venoy Rd. in Westland

Toy Shop Assistance:
Volunteers will be helping pick out toys and packing them in bags for clients off a list provided by the client. However, there will be no client contact and volunteers will be required to wear masks.

· 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
· Lunch will be provided
· The Dearborn Heights Citadel Corps located at 26700 W. Warren Ave., Dearborn Heights

Join us Friday, November 5th from 6:30-9pm in the Corner room of the Annex. Offerings for the evening include pizza and salad, games, pampering, a prayer room, a chat room and an opportunity to learn more about how you can take next steps in your spiritual journey by connecting through groups and serving at LifeChurch!

We have a great opportunity to support the homeless outreach program with Covenant Community Care in Westland. They have reached out to us this year about providing the listed cold-weather items below that are greatly needed as temperatures start to drop. Bring any items to our LifeWomen Connect event on the 5th!

New and Gently Used Emergency/Cold Weather Items Needed:

Sleeping Bags
Sleeping Pads/Camping Mats
Blankets
Tents (2 season, 2-4 person tent, all weights)
Gloves (all types: cheap knit gloves to warm insulated)
Socks (no holes)
Hand Warmers
