--Be here for worship at 10:00 am on this special Pastor Appreciation Sunday. Beth Polen and our choir will offer a joyful anthem, Pastor Mary Jo will present a special message entitled Letters From a Beloved One and Julie Smith and the Sunday School team will take charge of our young ones for their part of our Sunday celebration. After the service, we will congregate in Wesley Hall for coffee and cake to celebrate the first ten months of Pastor Mary Jo's leadership!

Our readings this Sunday are Philippians 1: 21 - 30 & Matthew 22: 1 - 14.

Everyone is always welcome to worship here at Crossroads, and when we take Communion, everyone is always welcome at the Lord's table. So please tell your friends, coworkers or neighbors who may be looking for a church home about us! We worship every week in our sanctuary at 10:00 am.

Street parking is free on Sunday mornings and we also offer free parking in the garage across the street every Sunday morning.

Hello again Crossroads Community.

Earlier today, I posted something to this page which was wholly inaccurate. I am terribly sorry to have posted this incorrect information. We had a rare breakdown of communication today, and this information is simply wrong.

As your Director of Publications, I strive for accuracy in everything I publish in the name of the church, and this is one (hopefully rare) mistake on my part.

In this transitional time, our office has been operating and will continue to operate on the reduced hours of Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

It may happen sometime in the future that the drastic measure of closing the office entirely on a temporary basis might become necessary, but we all certainly hope that will never have to happen.

Again, apologies, please disregard the previous post, it was entirely my mistake. The office will be open tomorrow, September 18th, and next Tuesday through Friday as usual.

Hello Crossroads Community!

As you may know, we are in a time of transition after the resignation of our Administrator and Custodian. We have strived to keep the office open these last few weeks, and we have been able to do so thanks to our amazing volunteers.

However, in order to give the Pastor and leadership team time to assess our needs for future staffing, we are temporarily closing the office on all weekdays until further notice.

This means we won't be able to provide diapers or any other assistance for the next little while.

Rest assured, our regularly-scheduled weekday church events will still go on as planned. And if you are a person who has a code and/or keys to get into the building, that will remain unaffected, so you may continue to come and go as you need to.

Our Sunday morning breakfast and worship will remain unaffected as well, and we will continue to meet as a church as we would normally.

This is only a temporary measure, and we hope to announce in a few weeks' time what our office hours will be going forward. Thank you for your patience and your understanding.

Thank you to everyone who came out for our Fall Kickoff Sunday, which is the official beginning of our program year. What a delight to see so many old friends and new, and we welcomed with great joy the return of our choir from their summer hiatus and their added voices to our congregational singing.

Here is this year's version of our annual church photo, which we take every Kickoff Sunday.

Of course, we are here every Sunday, and we have groups for you to join and things to help do at the church during the week. If you are not subscribed to our weekly email newsletter, which tells you all the things that are going on and that you can participate in, sign up here:

It's time for Friday Facebook announcements!

*Sunday, September 13, 2026*

--This is it - our summer worship season is over, and our Fall Kickoff Sunday is here! This will be a busy and inspiring service of worship as we take Communion together, Beth Polen and our choir return with joyful voices and we gather outside for our annual church photo - AND coffee, cookies and fellowship afterwards. Pastor Mary Jo will offer a special Kickoff Sunday message and Julie Smith and the Sunday School team will lead our young ones through their part of our Sunday celebration.

No matter if you consider yourself merely a friend of the church, or just a visitor to the church, or if you are a steadfast member of the church with your own reserved pew, we hope you will be here this special Sunday to be in our service and in our photo afterwards!

Our readings this Sunday are Psalm 114 and Matthew 18: 21 - 35.

Hello Crossroads Community!

We have a change in our office hours and a request for volunteers to announce.

For the time being, our new office hours will be Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

We also need volunteers to staff our office, answering the phone and the Cleveland Ave door, handing out diapers and anything else that comes up.

We also need volunteers to help us keep our building clean, doing some light cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, etc.

We are in a transitional time while we look for new staff members to fill our administrator and custodial positions. If you can help in any way, for even one hour a week, please contact the church office at 330-455-0153 or email Pastor Mary Jo Yeakel directly at [email protected].
