🌸 Celebrating Swajan of Great Lakes Borshoboron & Rabindra-Nazrul Jayanti 2026🌸

On the evening of May 16th, Liberty School in Saline came alive with joy and festivity as we celebrated Borshoboron (Bengali New Year) and Rabindra-Nazrul Jayanti. The vibrant cultural evening welcomed nearly 150 guests for a memorable night of music, dance, and togetherness.

🎶 The evening featured nearly 20 wonderful performances, including soulful solo songs, charming performances by our little ones, graceful dances, and heartwarming storytelling. Each act brought a unique flavor to the evening and left the audience captivated.

🍛 Adding to the warmth of the night was a spread of delicious Bengali cuisine, thoroughly enjoyed by everyone in attendance.

A heartfelt thank you to all our guests, performers, and volunteers - your presence and dedication made this evening truly unforgettable. 🙏

What an incredible Saraswati Pujo this year! 🙏

Despite the weather throwing us some challenges, our community showed up in full force ~140+ attendees and over 30 amazing volunteers who poured their hearts into food preparation, distribution, transportation, cultural performances, and of course, the pujo and Anjali.

None of this would have been possible without each and every one of you. Thank you for coming together and making this celebration so special!
