At Access Ministries, our heart is to ensure access for unique people touched by disability. One of the ways we help make that possible is through buddies who support some of our kids in their grade-level classrooms.

“Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.”

This morning we talked about the moment Jesus appeared to His disciples and showed them His hands. His scars proved it was truly Him. The same Jesus who went to the cross was alive again.

Today, our friends created their own “hands” as a reminder of that moment. Just like the disciples, we can trust that Jesus is real, He is alive, and He is with us.

We played a game where we explored using our sense of touch. We looked at different objects, then closed our eyes while one was placed in a bag. Each friend had to feel the object and guess what it was without seeing it.

It was such a sweet way to connect it back to our story. Even though we can’t see Jesus now, we can still know He is real. We can feel His presence through the Holy Spirit living within us.

Even when we have questions… even when we can’t see… Jesus meets us right where we are.

Respite Night is coming up on **April 17 from 6:30–9:00 PM**, and we are SO excited about it! Our theme is **Superheroes**, so feel free to come dressed as your favorite hero and get ready for a fun night together 💥

This will be our **last respite night before summer**, and we’d love for you to join us. It’s always such a special time, and we’re really looking forward to a night that’s encouraging, uplifting, and full of joy for everyone involved ❤️

Today in Access Ministries at Grace Crossing, we began preparing our hearts for Holy Week!

We talked about Palm Sunday, when Jesus entered Jerusalem and was praised as King. But we also spent time in the garden, where we see His humility, His surrender, and His deep love for us.

From celebration to surrender… this week reminds us of the full story of Jesus. ❤️

As we walk into Holy Week, we’re slowing down, leaning in, and remembering that Jesus meets us in every moment both the joyful and the hard.

We can’t wait to celebrate what’s coming next…

We are so excited to kick off our second Mother + Daughter Retreat this weekend! 💕

Our theme this year is “Taste and See” from Psalm 34:8 — a beautiful reminder of the goodness of the Lord and the invitation to experience His love in a personal and meaningful way.

“O taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him!” – Psalm 34:8

It is such a joy for Grace Crossing to come alongside other local churches and put this retreat together. What a gift to come together as one body to love and serve these incredible moms and daughters impacted by disability.

We can’t wait for a weekend full of worship, laughter, connection, and sweet moments together. 💗 Please be praying over our families, volunteers, and all the moments that will take place — that each person would truly taste and see the goodness of God!
