Imagine receiving a letter from Paul this week.
What would he write?

Perhaps:
Don't quit.
God isn't finished.
Your suffering will not last forever.
Jesus is enough.
Rejoice in the Lord.

But perhaps more importantly:
What letter are you writing with your life?
When people read your attitude...
When they see your response to hardship...
When they watch how you treat others...
What do they learn about Jesus?

Paul wrote a letter from prison that still encourages people today.
You may never write a New Testament letter.
But you are writing a testimony every day.

You are a living letter.

This week’s letter-writing challenge:
Write a letter of encouragement to someone today!
It may just be the voice of encouragement, hope,
and JOY they need for the day!

Paul's letter to the Philippians is one of the most personal and encouraging letters in the New Testament. Written while Paul was imprisoned, the letter demonstrates how joy and hope can thrive even in difficult circumstances. In Philippians chapter 1, Paul begins by expressing gratitude for the believers in Philippi, thanking God for their partnership in the gospel. He encourages them by reminding them that God, who began a good work in them, will carry it on to completion (Philippians 1:6). Paul also prays for their spiritual growth, love, and discernment, showing that encouragement is more than kind words—it is helping others grow deeper in their faith. Through his example, Paul teaches believers to remain confident, joyful, and focused on Christ regardless of life's challenges.

Our local mission partners need our support this summer as they help meet the needs of school-aged children over the summer months. During the month of June we will be collecting food items to help support The Real Life Center's goal of filling 500 backpacks each week during the summer months!
