Several decades ago, David Bowie sang, “Ch-ch-changes: turn and face the strange.” This Sunday in worship we’ll be looking at the lessons on CHANGES contained in Mark 2:18-22 and 1 Corinthians 9:19-23. Jesus said that when you’re making wine, you can’t put new wine into old containers. In the same way, new times call for new approaches to ministry. How willing are we to change for the sake of the Gospel – locally at Geneva and at large, in our denomination (the PCUSA)? Please join us for worship at 10 a.m., either in person or online.

This Sunday we’ll be honoring the graduates in our Geneva family and looking at the story of David and Goliath from 1 Samuel chapter 17. While there are many layers to this ancient hero’s tale, we’ll be thinking about the ways in which sometimes young people need to take off the proverbial armor that they have been given and go their own way, on their own terms, in order to be successful. Please join us for worship at 10 a.m., either in person or online, as we explore this idea.
