This Sunday we’ll be looking at “The Parable of the Unforgiving Servant,” found in Matthew 18:21-35. Jesus was pretty clear that this parable is about forgiveness and its importance in our relationships with other people and with God. (Jesus is often not clear about the meaning of the parables, instead leaving disciples to puzzle it out for themselves. Gratefully, that’s not the case with this one!) Why are we so prone to double-standards of forgiveness like we see in that servant? Why are we so stingy with our grace to others? Please join us this Sunday morning for worship, either in person or online, as we explore these questions.
