Generations Church is located near the heart of Canton, GA about halfway between the city of Atlanta and the North Georgia mountains. We were originally planted as the Canton Campus of Mount Paran North Church in Marietta, GA and Pastor Mark Walker on January 8, 2012. God was so faithful to us in that season, as an amazing team of volunteers drove Uhaul trucks, unloaded in the elements, set up hun

dreds of feet of pipe and drape and we worked around high school drama sets to hold church on Sundays. Hundreds of people were saved and our resolve was forged to partner with other area churches to transform our community. January 17, 2016 we moved to Bluffs Parkway and established the first permanent location of what is now Generations Church. We have expanded the facility several times and are currently in the process of doubling our current capacity...making more room to serve more people. We desire to "Live Like it Matters" believing that everything we do is part of the story God is writing in our lives. We want to help people possess their faith and pass it on.

Today we celebrated all of the incredible things God has done over the past year through our local, national, and global missions efforts out of the generosity of those who call Generations Church home. We’re so thankful that we are able to glorify God anytime we have the chance to meet a need and make a difference! Grateful to have our friends at CherokeeFamilyViolenceCenter The Children’s Haven Seeds of Hope N. GA and Casa Shalom with us today!

There is a critical moment when faith must become personal, moving from inherited beliefs to a genuine, active relationship with God. Grab your baton from those that came before you and go.

Stories like Sean’s are why Generations Church exists. Above everything else, our heart is to see people come into a life-changing relationship with Jesus through salvation, and then find a church that feels like home, with people to do life with and serve alongside. For Sean, that meant becoming the generational change he desired for his family and being baptized alongside his son as their family committed to putting God first.

If you’ve recently decided to follow Jesus, register for Baptism Sunday on September 13 and take your next step by going public with your faith!

Couldn’t ask for a better Sunday to close out a series on. From our Worship Center and overflow venue to our g•Kids environments and common spaces for Salsa with the Staff, there was all sorts of care, community, and connection happening around our church this morning. What a special day, we love you! ❤️

D is for Discipleship | We concluded our series ABCs of Family Life teaching the story of Timothy from 2 Timothy 1 and 2, emphasizing how faith is received, personalized, and passed on to others. We dove into the importance of intentionally discipling our families, as we are always teaching something, whether we realize it or not.

We loved this series and loved hearing how it moved in you and your families. ❤️
