THE DANGER OF LOSING OUR SPIRITUAL SIGHT.

We are seeing more platforms than altars.

And maybe the problem is that we have learned to recognize what is visible, but we have stopped discerning what is spiritual.

A platform is built to elevate a person. It puts someone on display. All eyes are on the one standing on it.

But an altar is different.

You don't build an altar to be seen. You live from the altar.

And the altar will cost you.

It will cost your pride.
It will cost your agenda.
It will cost your comfort.
It will cost your desire to be seen.

The platform elevates you.
The altar lays you down.

That's why Paul said:

“Present your bodies as a living sacrifice…” Romans 12:1

Because you cannot live from an altar without becoming the sacrifice.

The question isn't how impressive the platform is.
The question is: Is there still an altar?

There is a mandate from Heaven:

🔥 KEEP THE ALTAR THE ALTAR. 🔥

Let Jesus be seen.
Let Jesus be glorified.
Let Jesus remain the center.
