🌿 The Church Alive
📖 Acts 2:1-5
The early church was not alive because of programs, popularity, or performance. The church was alive because the presence of God filled the people! When the Holy Spirit entered the room, everything changed. Fear turned into faith, silence turned into boldness, and ordinary people became powerful witnesses for Christ.
Today, we must ask ourselves a serious question: Is God satisfied with what we’re doing?
Are we simply going through routines, or are we truly allowing God to move through us? The church should not just gather, it should live, breathe, pray, love, serve, and reflect the power of God in the earth.
God is not impressed with empty motions. He desires hearts that are surrendered, worship that is genuine, and people who are willing to be used for His glory. A church alive is a church filled with prayer, unity, compassion, and the fire of the Holy Spirit.
Before we point fingers at others, let us examine ourselves. Are we building God’s Kingdom or our own comfort? Are we seeking His will or our own recognition? The same Spirit that moved in Acts 2 is still moving today, and God is still calling His people to arise and live!
🙏🏽 Prayer:
Father, awaken Your people again. Search our hearts and help us to become the church You desire us to be. Remove anything in us that does not please You, and fill us afresh with Your Holy Spirit. Let our worship be real, our love be genuine, and our lives reflect Your power and glory. Revive our churches, our homes, and our communities so the world may see that You are alive and moving among Your people. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
