Today, our LAFF (Life After Fifty Five) group traveled to Skyview Ranch to enjoy a special lunch and fellowship with 100 friends from other OARBC churches. Shout-out to Brianna Owen, intern at Skyview Ranch, for helping to serve the meal and taking the time for a photo op with our church family!

🇺🇸 Happy Labor Day!

As we enjoy this day, we’re reminded to be thankful for the gift of work and for the many ways God allows us to serve Him and others through what we do each day.

You may be working today, enjoying a day with family, or simply taking time to rest...may we remember that our work has purpose when it is done for the Lord.

“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” — Colossians 3:23

GBC friends and family,

We remind you to continue to lift up the family of our dear faithful servant and sister in Christ, Mary Lee Buchanan, in prayer. As a reminder, be sure to mark your calendar for her visitation and memorial service at GBC on September 26.

What a special evening of worship and fellowship! 🌟

We’re thankful for a wonderful Night of Worship with churches from across the Akron-Canton fellowship area. It was a blessing to gather together, lift our voices in worship, and be reminded of the joy and unity we share as believers.

We were encouraged by Pastor Josh Littler of Faith Baptist Church in Streetsboro and Pastor Sean Yusten of Norton Baptist Church.

And, of course, no church fellowship would be complete without ice cream! 🍦 We enjoyed a sweet time afterward simply talking, laughing, and getting to know one another better.

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” — Psalm 133:1
