The BEST BE THE CHURCH with our Canton First Methodist Church family ✝️🍁🙌🏻⛪️

God is great! What a blessing it was to be the hands & feet of Jesus throughout Cherokee Co. today. With so many projects, mission partners, and people to serve we’re thankful for these opportunities to glorify God & make Him known.

From serving at the Tanner House, creating sweet cards for Cherokee Thanksgiving, doing beautification around our church property, participating in a prayer walk throughout the community, serving with Goshen Valley Boys Ranch, delivering fresh baked cookies to first responders, creating blessing bags for the amazing teachers at R.M. Moore Elementary, and much more our CFMC Student Ministry - LEaD students & families took their worship beyond the church walls!

Sharing life and sharing Christ in community is the absolute best. It was a beautiful day to Be the Church! Beyond proud of the emerging generation as they continue to have open hands, open minds, and open hearts to serve God & others 🤎

🌅Fall Sunset

Couldn’t have asked for a better evening! Blessed by our Canton First Methodist Church family, and our CFMC Student Ministry - LEaD students who make CFMC feel like home. To be outside in God’s creation, to worship together and experience His presence- so grateful 🙏

Beyond thankful for the AMAZING Blanton Family for always having open hearts to serve and pour into our families! THANK YOU, Amy & Scott Blanton for the warm welcome and allowing us to enjoy your beautiful property. No wind gusts stopped us from worshipping the Lord tonight!

Looking at Ecclesiastes 3 we understand that the seasons may change, chapters may close, but our God remains the same- yesterday, today, and tomorrow. He has always been faithful, and there’s a season for everything. No matter the season God has already gone ahead, and we can always put our trust in Him. He is our hope in every season, God is the source of all good things!

Happy HOMECOMING and SENIOR Night for some of our fantastic CFMC Student Ministry - LEaD students! It was a home sweet homecoming for all our Cherokee students & Seniors, and a wonderful Senior Night at The King’s Academy 🎉🏈📣🙌🏻

We had to divide and conquer tonight, and no rain was going to stop us from cheering on our brothers & sisters in Christ. Walton came to Cherokee for the matchup, and we were super excited to support one of our awesome student leaders who is a kicker for Walton! Brings joy to see how the emerging generation not only knows about Jesus, but that they have a true relationship with Him ❤️ Every time they show up for each other, every moment we share the stands with our Canton First families we see faith & servant leadership lived out! This is what sharing life and sharing Christ is all about. Young people are partnering with God in what He’s doing in the world.

‼️Expectations for Mission Trip‼️ *High School Trip Specific Requirement

- *Students lead/ join a Discipleship Group. A D-Group is a small, intentional gathering of three to five believers who meet regularly to study the Bible, pray, hold each other accountable, and grow spiritually for the purpose of making more disciples. *Current 8th Graders have the option to choose between the MS & HS Trip. Those praying about joining HS trip for Summer ‘27, these expectations apply to them. Students who need a D-Group should connect w/ Pastor Kayla and our LEaD Council.

- Attend LEaD Youth Group regularly, meaning a minimum of 2 times per month. Engage in Sunday morning worship services consistently.

- Serve with CFMC Be the Church Sunday October 18th AND Serve Saturday in the Spring! If students aren’t able to attend these projects, a different serve project will be assigned during that semester.

- Participate and be present for fundraising opportunities & events.

- Acquire 2 Canton First Prayer Partners to pray for your student(s) for their mission trip.

Can’t wait to witness all the ways God moves next summer as our emerging generation serves others in the name of Christ ✝️🎉

Sun, fun, sand, fellowship, Holy Spirit and Epworth
⛪️🌤️✝️🌊

The BEST weekend with the best crew! Growing closer to Jesus, spending intentional time with Him and one another. Grateful for the conversations had, the relationships strengthened, and new friendships made. Our CFMC Student Ministry - LEaD students & adult leaders are returning home refreshed, renewed, and reconnected with their Creator. The best part?
We have a student coming back to Canton ready to be baptized, their heart ready to take the next step in saying YES to Jesus Christ being the Lord of their life! 🙌🏻

There is something about Epworth, something special about visiting this place and experiencing God’s presence in a fresh new way. Beyond thankful for the amazing adult LEaD team that joined me for this blessed retreat weekend! Couldn’t disciple, mentor, teach, or support the emerging generation without their loving leadership. Our young people are hungry for the Lord & His Word! Lots of memories made and moments with God cherished. Thank you to our families for allowing their students to join us at this beautiful place!
