📚✏️ Join Islamic Relief USA x MCWS Youth/CYP for a Back-to-School Kit Packing volunteer event! Help us pack school supplies for students in need and make an impact before the new school year. 💙

🙌 We will have tasks for all age levels: packing the school supplies, making and loading boxes and more!

🧰 School supply boxes will be distributed to students through Muslim Foster Care Association and Al Ikhlas Academy.

In our modern era, architecture is focused on budget, flashy design, and speed - but it lacks the sacredness of traditional Islamic architecture. What makes Islamic architecture so beautiful and spiritually rich, and how can we learn from the design of these sacred spaces? Join us in a workshop to learn the basics of Islamic art and architecture, and uncover the beauty of centuries of Islamic design.

Give your child the opportunity to grow in Qur’an, Arabic, and Islamic studies in a nurturing learning environment. Classes are for ages 6–13 (5-year-olds may be considered after evaluation).

*Tajweed Classes for Sisters*

Enhance your Quran recitation skills with Tajweed classes designed for sisters.

🗓 Sep 14 - Dec 17, 2026
⏰ 6 PM to 7:30 PM

*Beginner Level*- Mondays 6pm to 7:30pm
Focus on the correct pronunciation of the Arabic letters through the study of their articulation points (Makharij al-Huruf) and characteristics (Sifat al-Huruf). Students will develop a foundational understanding of Tajweed principles and apply them while reciting from Juz’ 30. The course includes lectures, interactive review sessions, and both practical and written assessments.

Open to all students starting their Tajweed Journey.

*Intermediate Level* - Thursdays 6pm to 7:30pm
This course builds upon the foundational concepts of Tajweed and focuses on the practical application of major recitation rules while applying them in their recitation of Juz’ 29 and 30. The course includes interactive review sessions, guided recitation practice, and both practical and written assessments.
Open to students who have completed and passed the Beginner Level
