Please be advised that the board of directors has asked that the leash requirement for all dogs be enforced. We also ask that you clean up after your dog. It will be appreciated by other guests and our maintenance crew.
New signage will be put up in the very near future.

The history at Historic West Lawn just keeps ‘flowing”. Did you know that the Canton Water Works located this well station here in 1869. Water was sent from Myers Lake to this well and then to Water Works Park, where it was then distributed to residents of the area.

Thank you to Wesley Paul Harris and Troop # 127 for their hard work in cleaning up the Civil War section. They worked tirelessly in removing brush, washing the markers, and cleaning up the section. Job well done. So good to know that there are people who care and are interested in this history. Historic West Lawn has so much to offer.

Be sure to put on your best smile while visiting the historic grounds of West Lawn. You just may be captured on one of our newly installed camouflage security cameras, strategically placed throughout the grounds. Also please note the cemetery is closed at dusk, gates will be locked.
