It looks like it's going to be a beautiful day! Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on and follow the signs to the swimming area. You can bring your own lunch and stick around afterwards for a time of fellowship. There are charcoal grills if you would like to use them. ❤️ See you there!

Our third Grief Share Group will start on June 2, at 1:30 in the conference room. Please consider joining us if you are dealing with grief after the loss of a loved one. The weekly lessons deal with real feelings and real issues after the loss of a loved one and are especially helpful in reminding us of God’s truth. People who attended our first two groups found it supportive and helpful. I (Patty) know I found the lessons very helpful when my father unexpectedly passed away halfway through the 13-week program. If you know of anyone who might benefit, please invite them! Ask Patty A., Steve W. or send a message on FB for further information.

On Sunday, Chris Newton will be our special guest. He is a Canterbury resident, a member of the local Mennonite church, and an accomplished organist. He will play organ for all the music Sunday. Our organ was given to Calvary Chapel by James and Rose Yaworski in 1990. We wanted to feature it in a service since we did some work on it during our renovation project and it sounds great in our newly renovated sanctuary! "The Lord's faithfulness endures through all generations" (Psalm 100:5).

A weeping cherry tree was planted at Calvary Chapel this morning in memory of Nelson Haeseler and in gratitude for his leadership in our renovation project.
