It was a beautiful day to celebrate the dawn of the year as we shift into Spring. The sun was shining for our walk in the woods, hot pancakes by the wood stove hit the spot, and our ceremony on top of the knoll was beautiful, joyous, and moving. Thanks to all who came and made this day special!

Our Spring Equinox Celebration is coming right up! Activities for the kiddos will include crafting a lovely sun catcher with findings from the woods. We look forward to celebrating with you and your families soon!

Make a beautiful flower petal contact paper suncatcher in a decorative wooden frame that can be reused for other contact paper suncatchers (ideas included).

A bit of humor to start your day considering the unseasonably warm temps in the forecast for today and tomorrow followed by a storm on Friday. Few know the joys of variable weather like New Englanders! The good news is that regardless of what the weather is doing, we are marching ever closer to the Greet the Dawn - Spring Equinox Celebration ! We'd love to have you!

The WEWS team could also use hand with some things at the event. Send us a message if you'd be interested in helping out with set up, tear down, the kids activities, and/or the ceremony.

Wishing all a blessed Winter Solstice! A joyous time of contemplation and celebration was had by all this past Saturday as we celebrated the darkest days of the year and the expected rebirth of light. We know so many of you wanted to join us but weren’t able to due to the storm. Fear not! We already have future events in the works. Fingers crossed that Mother Nature will spare us for our next gathering!
