The Bible has much to say about woman and mothers.
From Genesis 2, God saw that man needed a helper and created Eve.
In Proverbs 31, a virtuous woman is described with qualities that we should all strive for.
In the Gospels, we see the importance of Mary (Jesus’s mother), Elizabeth (John the Baptist’s mother), the mother of James and John and many other women who have faith in Jesus and bring their children to Him.
In Acts, Eunice and Lois (mother and grandmother) are praised for raising up Timothy to be a young preacher.
Paul offers many prayers of thanksgiving for the woman who have helped him and helped the church throughout his letters.
Let us celebrate and give thanks for the women in our lives!
