It’s darkest before dawn.

As I ponder why, I am reminded of the 2 lights that God created. The sun shines during the day. The lesser light, the moon, reflects the sun during the night. As night transitions to day, the moon fades before the sun shines bright.

When we apply that to our spiritual life, we reflect God’s light through faith. As hard times hit, it hard to reflect light when troubles come. We feel alone and lost in the dark. Those times are followed with hope when God’s light shines bright with his beautiful dawn.
