Candor Congregational Church

Candor Congregational Church We are an evangelical church in fellowship with the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference. First meeting house built 1818 on Mill St.

On June 29, 1808, the original church covenant was signed by 9 people in Sylvester Woodford's barn. On July 23,1810 the first church constitution was adopted. The Farmington Society, which still exists today, was created to support the church. It was named after the town in Connecticut from which the founders had emigrated. June 29 is the 218th anniversary of the founding of the Candor Congregational Church.
July 4 is the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
In light of these, we have some special messages the next two weeks.

7/05 (Communion) Believing in Jesus Even in the Hard Times

All services are from 10-11 a.m., followed by a fellowship time and Sunday School Hour. You are invited to join us!
