Church Family,
I want to share an important update regarding our weekend services. Beginning this coming weekend, we will no longer be offering our 11:30 a.m. Sunday service. We will continue to offer our 8:30 and 10:00 a.m. services, along with our 6:00 p.m. Saturday service.
When we first added a fourth service, our heart was simple: to make more room for more people to hear the gospel. We believe deeply in the words of Jesus in Matthew 9:37: “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” We are seeing that reality unfold right in front of us—our church is growing, lives are being changed, and people are coming to faith in Christ. We remain fully committed to reaching as many people as possible, as quickly as possible, with the good news of Jesus.
At the same time, we also recognize the importance of knowing our limits. This additional service has been an intentional experiment to create space but preaching four services each weekend is not something my voice can sustain long-term. I want to continue giving my very best to each message, each service, and each of you—without the distraction or concern of not being able to finish well.
One of the values we hold as a church is being willing to step out, take risks, and try new things for the sake of the gospel. We want to be bold and entrepreneurial in how we reach people. Sometimes that means trying something new and learning along the way. And when something doesn’t work as we hoped, that’s okay—we celebrate that we stepped out in faith and gave it our best.
I also want to say a special thank you to our staff and volunteers who stepped up in a big way to make this fourth service possible. Your flexibility, sacrifice, and heart to serve have made a real impact. You helped create space for people to hear the gospel and encounter Jesus—and that matters more than we can fully measure.
Thank you, church family, for your flexibility, your encouragement, and your shared heart for reaching people. We’re excited about what God is doing in this season and even more excited about what’s ahead.
Let’s keep looking up—the harvest is still plentiful.
Grateful to serve alongside you,
Tim Davis
