Sis. Brenda Shackleford brought a good word this morning for our Father’s Day service titled “The Before and After Dad.

Know that you have a right to pray over generational curses and God can restore the family unit.

There is peace through forgiveness and John 8:36 says “If the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.”

In order to have that freedom you must forgive.

Thankful that we have a Heavenly Father who restores, gives us joy and happiness.

As you go about your week this week, take time to reflect on the message from Sunday. It’s so easy in our day to day lives to get discouraged, to feel down or to be moving so fast that we forget to slow down. Take a moment, or a few…and think about the Lord’s thoughts towards you. Be encouraged this week that He is for you, He walks beside you, He sees you, He knows you and He calls you friend. He’s already accounted for the ways we would mess up & still chooses us over and over again.

We love you and we’re praying for you!
